Freeway Macedonia

The Freeway Macedonia Warehouse, built in 1979, is a multi-tenant industrial office/warehouse consisting of 29,568 square feet on 1.95 acres of land, rectangular shaped, located in the City of Macedonia, Ohio, and considered to be in the Twinsburg/Aurora Industrial Submarket. It has excellent interstate access near the intersections of I-77, I-271 and I-80, the Ohio Turnpike. The subject property is set back approximately 333 feet from the east side of Freeway Drive. The building initially housed certain manufacturing and warehouse functions for TRW, Inc. and has since been subdivided for multiple tenants. The facility is simple, well built, and a reasonably well maintained facility. The parcel has been zoned for commercial use.

The one-story building is a steel frame structure with masonry walls that extend to approximately eight feet and 17-foot ceilings. It has two drive-in bays and 9 – 8′ x 8′ exterior loading docks. A total of six roof top gas fired forced air furnaces with electric cooling have been installed. Structure-suspended, gas fired unit heaters are used in the warehouse areas. Lighting is typically lay-in fluorescent troffers with flat acrylic prismatic lenses in the office areas, and structure suspended fluorescent tube fixtures in the warehouse areas. The building is surrounded on the north and south by an asphalt parking lot. The property is served by utility companies providing natural gas and electric power.
