Chelsea Village Apartments is a 72-unit complex Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) development located in Defiance, Ohio. The construction and initial rent-up was completed in 1995. The residential area has tree-lined streets and outstanding schools, close to shopping, beautiful parks and playgrounds. Levin Group, Inc. was responsible for land assemblage, negotiating with equity sources, and obtaining both construction and permanent financing. Levin Group, Inc., is the management agent for the development.
The apartment complex consists of 32-two bedroom garden apartments consisting of 961 square feet; 12-two bedroom townhouses consisting of 991 square feet; and 28-three bedroom townhouses consisting of 1,124-1,419 square feet. Each apartment is equipped with individual controlled and metered heating and air conditioning, wall to wall carpeting, frost free refrigerators, electric stoves, disposals, washer and dryer hook-ups in every apartment, centrally located laundry room, wired for cable. Also offered are sliding doors that open onto balconies or patios and an elegant party room for easy entertaining.
