Blanket Mill
The Northern Ohio Blanket Mills, located one block south of the Clark Avenue and Fulton Road intersection at 3160 W. 33rd Street, Cleveland, OH 44109, is a historic preservation/adaptive reuse project that will turn the largest vacant property in the Clark-Fulton neighborhood into 60 multi-family affordable housing units. Amenities will include interior community gathering spaces; gardens; large units with natural lighting; accessible multi-model transit; and supportive services provided on the first floor of the building by a local non-profit. The supportive service provider will offer programming for primary and mental health care; high quality early childhood education; and job training services to the Blanket Mills’ tenants and the greater Clark-Fulton Community. The former manufacturing building will include a mix of one, two- and three-bedroom units available to those in the community with incomes of 60% of the Area Median Income or less and supported by Section 8 Placed Based Rental Vouchers.

Fulton Landings Development was established in September 2006. This is a residential subdivision development nestled onto a semi-rural and wooded site with 48 single family residence sublots located in the Historic City of Canal Fulton. The Stark Parks Towpath is at your doorstep, across from the Towpath, Erie/Ohio Canal and the Tuscarawas River, between Northwest High School and Canal Fulton. Downtown Canal Fulton is just a 10-minute walk away, a 15-minute drive to the Akron-Canton Airport, and one hour south of Cleveland.

Great Lakes Land Construction is the General Contractor for the subdivision constructing these quality homes. Fulton Landings Homeowner’s Association has been established to maintain the landscaping, arrange waste removal pick-up, and snow plowing.

LGI Construction, LLC (LGI) was established March 13, 2006, to do the renovating and rehabilitation of existing and new housing, and assist in the organization, implementation and construction process of all the various rehabilitation projects with HUD and other governmental agencies. As a general contractor, LGI assists Levin Group, Inc. in overseeing all construction and rehabilitation procedures in order to produce efficient, cost-saving and professional workmanship to every detail of its entire project. LGI has been the general contractor for the major renovation and rehabilitation for Conneaut Manor Apartments, Conneaut, Ohio; Kenmore Commons Townhomes, Rockefeller Park Apartments, Cleveland, Ohio; and Maplewood/Northwood Apartments in Lima, Ohio.

Great Lakes Land LLC has developed residential subdivisions in Orange, Solon, and Brecksville, Ohio, and in 2007, developed a Planned Urban Development of 48 lots in Canal Fulton, Ohio, with ownership transferred to Fulton Landings Development LLC.
