Rockefeller Park Apartments is a mid-rise, six-story apartment building originally built in 1925 with beautiful historical architecture reminiscent of that time.  Rockefeller Park Apartments overlooks Rockefeller Park and the University Circle Arts and Cultural district.  It is in very close proximity to three major health systems: Cleveland Clinic, University Hospitals and the VA Hospital.

Rockefeller Park Apartments provides housing for seniors and people with disabilities.  There are 126 total units consisting of Efficiencies/Studios, 1-Bedroom and 2 Bedroom units that range from 370 to 644 square feet.  Rockefeller Park is located at 1588 Ansel Road in Cleveland, Ohio.

The property is currently operated under both the Section 8 housing and Low Income Housing Tax Credit programs.  It is located in the western part of University Circle.  Rockefeller Park, located across the street, is one of Cleveland’s oldest and most well known parks.  The Rockefeller Park Gardens, established in 1902, contains over 270 acres of gardens featuring thousands of different flowers.   Rockefeller Park serves as a valuable amenity to the tenants of Rockefeller Park Apartments.

All units have through-wall electric air conditioning and the building is heated by a gas-fired hot water boiler.  Units feature an apartment size electric range and refrigerator, stainless steel single-bowl sink, and laminate countertops.  The building has two recently upgraded elevators and common area amenities include laundry rooms on floors 2-6, two community rooms, both with televisions and other amenities including a kitchen.

Major building renovations were completed in 2010  from funds obtained through the HUD Mark-to-Market Program emphasizing energy efficiency and included new high efficient energy furnaces, new windows, carpet/vinyl tile flooring, electrical, plumbing, appliances, countertops, vanities, as well as numerous other upgrades.  The units are well designed with efficient floor plans.  Major improvements were also completed in 2018.
